It was also the title of the first of a series poems which Aleister Crwoley later wrote to accompany Spare’s illustrations for the book. The present volume comprises the complete text and illustrations of The Focus of Life, re-set to incorporate the first ever publication of Aleister Crowley’s attendant poems. Now for Reality is thus a unique fusion of the artistry and occult vision of two of the twentieth century’s greatest magicians, Aleister Crowley and Austin Osman Soare.
